Classwork: Today we took notes on the different wartime tactics and strategies (slides 22-45) used by both sides of the Vietnam War. Any remaining class time was used to work on the creative project from LA.
Homework: Classwork: Today we continued to craft recommendations from the perspective of both Hawks and Doves. In small groups you presented your ideas to "President Johnson" to help him decide if the US should send more troops to Vietnam.
Homework: None Classwork: Today we reviewed what we learned about Vietnam from the gallery walk yesterday. We discussed what role the US should have in international affairs. We too brief notes on the country of Vietnam and the major people involved with the Vietnam War. We read 8 excerpts and started to fill in the Hawks/Dove T-Chart.

Classwork: Today we started watching a documentary film about the Murder of Emmett TIll - what many historians argue as the catalyst to the CRM in the 50s and 60s and discussed the impact this murder had on the US. We also took notes on the Origins of the CRM.
