Classwork: Today I had you write a letter to my future students about advice for the Junior Project. We took notes on the Watergate scandal. Any class time left was used to work on the epitaph assignment.

Classwork: Today we had a gallery walk of the Vietnam scrapbooks. I passed out the Nixon Epitaph assignment and gave you work time.
Homework: Continue to work on Epitaph
Classwork: Today we continued to chart and discuss the rise and fall of Nixon's Presidency. We also started to discuss which events had the most significant impact on his presidency. Class was shorter than usual today due to the CHOICES assembly.
Homework: Vietnam Project due tomorrow.
Classwork: Today we read and discussed the ups and downs of Nixon's presidency. We started adding this information to a timeline in class - we will finish this tomorrow.
Homework: Read 53.4 and finish the chart we started in class today
Classwork: Mrs. Parsons was gone today. Mr. Berner was your sub. At your table groups you discussed the end of the Vietnam War and the lasting impact it had in the US. You finished watching the My Lai documentary and debriefed with Mr. Berner. Any remaining class time was used as work/study period.

Classwork: Today we took the USH Post Assessment. We also continued to watch the My Lai massacre documentary. I introduced the Vietnam Culminating Creative Project.
Classwork: Today we discussed the events that happened in 1968, such as the Kent State shooting and the protests at the DNC and started watching a PBS documentary about the My Lai Massacre.

Classwork: I collected your JP Process Work! We are officially done with the Junior Project!! We took notes on the start of the Vietnam war and discussed The Draft.
Classwork: Today we reviewed the early stages of Vietnam. We analyzed primary source excerpts regarding two different opinions about the war; Hawks and Doves. We had a modified Socratic seminar to discuss what President Johnson should do regarding increasing military support in Vietnam.
Homework: JP Final is due by Monday at 8:00 am. Process Packet due in class on Monday.
